We have been to a lot of retail places over the years, my family and I went to this store this evening to buy a outdoor fire pit. They did not have the one we wanted in stock only the display. An older gentleman was quick to help us and explained we could have the display for a discounted price. They were quick to get the display down and help us to check out. The cashier was also amazing and gave us an additional $10 more off then we were originally told. Now we weren't out to get a discount but I must say this was the best experience my family and I has ever had in a retail setting..
I do not typically review things on line - this may well be a first - but I am so frustrated with my experience today. I bought a toilet seat - quiet closing - got it out of the box, recycled the box, tried to attach the seat only to discover it does not close quietly. I took it back to the store with my receipt. They refused to exchange it. They said it was not the right product and without the box they could do nothing. Their receipt, their barcode, and they will do nothing. Last offer was they would sell me the right seat for half price and I could take both of them home. Last time I go there.
It's Home Depot, ya really should know by now what you are getting. Lumber, plumbing, landscaping, if you need to fix something or do a project this is. Good place to start.
The service was great. We were looking for a washer and dryer and the representative that helped us was very informative and helpful I would recommend going here. The only reason we didn't end up buying was that Lowe's had better sales going on
There are these horrible security cameras in the tool section that charm like a doorbell to let you know they are recording you. The sound is obnoxiously loud and they are placed every 10 feet so the noise is constantly going off. Horrible idea that creates a horrible shopping experience. No thought was put into it. Perhaps make it such that if one charm in the isle goes off, the rest don't beep for a cool down period? Or maybe just flash the wiring on the screen to let you know you are being recorded? Either would be an improvement. As it is, puts me in no mood to buy anything.
