Not a bad selection, and clean store, but the prices seemed a little too high for me.

I went into Casual Male XL in Mishawaka IN locally and I had a defective sweater that I purchased less than two weeks ago. I wore it for the first time and the cuff began to come unraveled at the seam. I spoke to a manager (well that is how she identified herself) and told her my situation and she stated that since I have worn the sweater she does not know if I did it or the quality of the sweater is at fault. Basically, calling me a liar. Why would I go through all the trouble to stop into a store and try to return something that I damaged? I paid $60 dollars for this sweater and I expect higher quality. I am upset with the managers inability or unwillingness to help me with this issue. More than likely I will not come back because if I am going to pay premium prices then I expect premium quality. I did not tear the cuff. It is painfully obvious the seam has begun to come unraveled. Regardless of the managers opinion or policy she did not even take a few moments to look at the defect. She was very short and to the point. There was one other person in the store so its not like she was busy. My business could have simply been saved if the MANAGER would have took the return and ordered me another sweater 2XLT. But her distasteful attitude and lack of customer service skills is why the store will lose my business and any other people I can tell this story too. Not good business for any store. I advise you go elsewhere because based on their store policy they are not willing to do anything for defective clothing. Once you wear it -- it just does not matter! Even if you can see the seam coming unraveled because someone at the factory didnt stitch the sweater correctly. So it is the customers fault since you wore it. Whatever!
The girls that work here are very friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately their clothes are overpriced including the sales rack. They enthusiastically offer to sign you up for email coupons but they do not help in decreasing price to an affordable amount. And I figured name brand means good quality, but that's not the case. I would say 50/50 on quality. I find myself going more and more to JC Penney and Burlington Coat Factory.
