Went in for a windshield replacement with 2 chips. They suggested a new windshield and gave a discount so it wasn't significantly more than the repair would have been. The new windshield looks great!
Not the best experience getting my windshield replaced. The first piece of glass they ordered was cracked, so I had to drive back home with my shattered windshield and wait for them to get a new one. Put me out of a car for two weeks. Once the new windshield arrived the order attempted to charge me for both windshields, the one they broke and the new one. I would have paid double. Even with this inconvenience and having to wait they charged me an additional $35 for the mobile service. During installation the tech broke the clips inside of my trim and claimed "they were already broken". Due to the age of the car replacing that trim piece costs upwards of $200. Tech left black polyurethane all over inside of my car, which I spent two hours cleaning out. Extremely unimpressed and will not be using Safelite again. Would not recommend to anyone I know.
First window that they replaced had a bubble in it, I had to drive with that for a few more days. Then the next one they brought had a warp in the glass. The third one was actually nice, but they litterally came out 4 more times without all the right parts. Took a total of 7 visits for them to get it correct. Looks great now, but come on!
Quality work. Windshield looks great on the repair. But for only 30 mins of work and repair I feel really ripped off at 108$. I know Lawyers who charge less. Way overpriced but good work.
I took my husband's car in two weeks ago for a full windshield replacement. I assumed it would take longer than a day to complete. Much to my surprise they were done withing two hours! They were informative, professional, and I feel worth the price for the great quality job they did. I would highly recommend them!
