I enjoy the breaded Jumbo Shrimp they serve out for lunch. Not the greatest buffet, but for only $6.99 for lunch, it beats eating fast food burgers for lunch. Owner is a really good guy, friendly, smiles a lot. The whole staff is very friendly. Limited selection, but worth the price of admission.
I think they're selling Chinese trinkets in the front of the restaurant, too. Things like the "Lucky Cat", cheap fluffy hats, etc. Very cute.
The experience is quite nice: you walk in and go to the counter on your right, state how many will be dining in, they give you a cute little coupon, and they set you loose.
You "help yourself to the drinks" as told to me by the cute Asian American at the counter. I love that. No need to scream out and wait around for some service, you just do your own thing while employees come around and pick up your plates almost the second you push it aside for the next round. Oh, they have soft serve ice cream machine! The chocolate side works! Only downside is that there isn't that big of a selection compared to the Hibachi Grill farther north.
You can sit anywhere you like, just not on top of other people. I like this. I have not known this to be a thing in Chinese buffets.
Good variety for the price. Drinks included if you eat in. I absolutely loved that I can serve myself (drink and food) and don't have to be bothered by the server. Sorry but sometimes I just want to eat in peace and quiet..
The women's bathroom is relatively clean, the toilets are quite high up, so if you're shorter it might be a little struggle (I was 5'8" wearing high heels, long legs, and even I noticed this). The roof of the bathroom is beautiful, I came back to it with my phone this time to take a picture. Daydream.
It's much better than most other small Chinese buffet places- the food is of better quality, at least as much as buffets in this area can be.
I did not have a bad experience with the food; I was only a little upset there was no sushi bar. The staff was nice and quick to grab empty dishes. I think the only rule there is to not talk about the Kung Foo Panda art at the entrance. We don't want a lawsuit from Disney. It's bad enough Disney turned Adam Driver into a monster. Did you know he like.. went to high school around here?? Omg, Indiana is a little awesome, now!!
Amazing service, great food, employees constantly checked the buffet and cleaned tables. Bathrooms were clean. Phenomenal experience
Overall, I would come back again.
