Never Shop Here! - The staff were incredibly rude and demeaning. - I'm an avid coin collector, looking to fill out my collection. I asked about mercury dimes, and before he even inquired as to which ones I needed he barked, "Oh, we just melt the crap you're looking for down for silver..." He then reiterated this point again and again, making it very clear that my business wasn't worth his time...
I love this place. They are very professional and respectful. The answered all my questions and explained their process for taking in coins off the street. Some really cool guys in here
-The specific dimes I need are valued between $50 and $800... I really hope they are melting those down for $33/ounce...
I agree with other reviewers who walked into Nunemaker's Coin Shop with little knowledge and left feeling informed. I was treated with courtesy and respect. Mr. Nunemaker presented my options clearly and completely. He paid close attention to each item, and I feel confident in his expertise.
There can't be that many coin collectors in this town... I can't imagine any of us ever return to an establishment that treats their clientele in this manner. I know that I never will!
