I love that I am a "Zales Girl."
If I could give this store a "0" star That would be more suiting! Customer service is absolutely horrible! I recently visited this store on 7/21/17 to have my chain fixed. I have a lifetime protection plan on my chain. I walked in the store started to speak with one of the ladies working at the counter, explain that my rose gold chain had recently broke and before she could even get a word out the rude Manager Nevar blurts out, "rose gold I have a chain right here you can have. I just got a knot out of it." As he is taking it out of a plastic what appears to be ziplock baggy. The chain was a completely different chain then what I have! I explain that the chain that my 1 year old son pulled off my neck is a stronger chain then what he is trying to have me accept. My chain is a box chain. He instantly gets rude and says to me "well it's right here I was just trying to get you a rose gold chain what would you like me to do order you a new one? You just admitted that your chain was broken!" I replied,"well yes that's why I'm her! I have a protection plan and would like it fixed or to discuss purchasing a stronger chain because this is the 2x my chain has broken." He then proceeds to tell me that he recently took over management of this store in June and the last manager should have explained to me that a chain can only be warranted 1x and after a replacement warranty must be purchased! Before checking any of my paperwork or if my warranty was still valid (which it was) due to the fact that the first time my chain broke they had the chain fixed,but the person who did the repair soldered the chain in gold instead of rose gold and also stretched my chain. When they went to give it to me after the repair they said it looked so horrible they just replaced the chain. Therefore not voiding my warranty. He didn't even ask for my name or greet me. A lady left the store because of how belittling he was being to me. Pointing out that sometimes managers need to say things that customers don't want to here and it was my fault my chain had broken. After I began to appear upset he knew that he crosses a line with me,but at that point I just wanted out of the store and didn't want to ever step foot in there again. After leaving the store very distraught and frustrated I decided to go to a Zales in portage,Mi that I originally purchased the chain from to have it fixed. No one should ever be treated the way Nevar treated me! Now the manager from the portage store Jen was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. She resolved my issue and had fabulous customer service skills. She took a negative experience and made it a positive one. I almost was completely done with Zales,but thanks to her I will be a repeat customer in her store. I even reported Nevar to the corporate Zales so hopefully he will see that the people that he is being rude to are the reason he gets a paycheck! So maybe he can understand that you can not treat customers this way!

The service from the representatives is second to none. The are always warm and friendly. The are very professional and always kind and helpful.
Nevar has been a treat to Zales. He is always such a pleasure to work with when my husband and I come in. We had a few issues with my wedding ring and he made sure to do everything he could to straighten it out for me. My husbands ring broke and he was speedy to give us the options to get it fixed. I prefer to work with Nevar every time we stop by. He's such a great asset to Zales!
This place is really nice and the manager was helpful. I would go again
