Found the living room suit we wanted until we found out how much it was gonna cost to finance it! 1800.00 set was gonna be 62.00 a week for 104 weeks. Comes up to over 6,000. Thanks, but no thanks!
In a nutshell...nice couch. Friendly and not pushy. The date and time of delivery is handled in an unorganized way. And treated like calling and wanting to know what's up with the expensive stuff I purchased is such a burden. I just need a correct date and time, that's all. If its not known for sure, then explain that, I'd understand.
If not for their failure of giving me the wrong size mattress, this negative review would not exist. Time is important and their mistake cost me several hours. I'm always willing to amend a relationship if American Freight reaches out to me.
They sell furniture. Most of the items look ragged and dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The salesman I talked with seemed like a nice guy. So Im giving this place 2 stars.
Bought two pieces this summer after a few months leg rest broke on one and other one won't recline without massive effort. Called store even sent pictures like I was asked. Said it would take 6 weeks to replace. This happen in August....it is now almost November!! Called twice this month and still hetting no where. Never buying from them. Stay away...poor customer service!!
Working at a moderately sized property management company, I have repeatedly used American Freight for furnishing several of our homes. I am disappointed they were not willing to simply take the mattress back and refund my purchase in favor of keeping a respectful relationship for future business.
Purchased a full size mattress. Was given a queen size mattress, and did not recognize until I was already at the house. Full was the largest I could fit in the room. In a time crunch, I purchased a mattress from another store(closer). Attempted to return the original mattress from American Freight, but was told "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" even though American Freight gave me the wrong size. I was offered store credit, which I appreciate, but I don't like my money being held hostage until future use.
